The fun involves the support of the Hen Party troops! : Activities include: milk a cow the old fashioned way, churn butter by hand, catch the cock as your group of hens watch on, Discover your knowledge of your fiancé as you participate in a Mr. and Mrs. Farmyard Treasure trail.
Upon completion the bride to be will receive the much coveted Farmyard Certificate.
After the fun activities enjoy the tea rooms which serve freshly made refreshments and light lunches using produce from its organic Polytunnel and vegetable/fruit gardens.

Day Trip to the Aran Islands

Take a day trip to remember to see the famous Aran Islands which are three rugged islands off the coast of Clare: Inishmore, Inisheer and Inishmaan
A fantastic day trip to see first-hand the unspoilt islands and see the islander’s way of life. Ferries operate a passenger ferry service to The Aran Islands from the nearby pier during the months of April to October. Why not tour by bicycle or for even more fun take a guided tour by Pony and Trap. Enjoy a Cliffs of Moher boat trip as you return back. Later stroll through Doolin enjoying the local craft shops and atmosphere of the seaside busy village. Why not book a Group Surf Lesson or maybe some Kayaking in nearby Lahinch
Just 8km away is a surfer’s paradise at Lahinch. Surf schools operate daily and provide all equipment and tuition for everyone – the water is sure to set the scene for an action packed morning or afternoon.`

Rock Climbing – a little daring!

Enjoy the scenery in a different way on the edge of the  Burren, with sea cliffs overlooking the Atlantic and Aran Islands. Climbing options for all levels with many climbing routes in the area
Group lessons run daily and you only require two people to book a lesson. During your climb you will be thought how to use the climbing gear and ropes, and get an abseil or two in as well.

Tea at Fr. Teds House!

Why not surprise your friends with afternoon tea with a difference! At Fr. Teds House
‘Afternoon Tea’ in their kitchen at the ‘Parochial House at Craggy Island’
Enjoy delicious home baking while relating the story of ‘Fr. Ted’ and the history of the house and locality. Guided tours of the farm and heritage can be arranged.
More recent international visitors include; the film director Steven Spielberg, poet and philosopher David A. White and actresses Marcia Cross and Brenda Strong from Desperate Housewives.

A day at the beach

Surrounded by The Atlantic Ocean why not take a dip at one of the many local beaches. The beautiful Blue Flag beach at Fanore is a must and just a 15 minute drive away and for the more adventurous enjoy a surf just 8km at Lahinch a surfer’s paradise.
