1. CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING
Booking deposit of 50% of booking value will be charged upon reservation the balance will be charged on the day prior to arrival along with €100 security deposit. (Details below)
We reserve the right to request some information in order to confirm bookings. On occasions we may require contact details such as photocopy of Passport or Drivers License.

2. SECURITY DEPOSIT.
A security deposit of €100 cash or credit card must be paid per house on or before arrival. The deposit will be refunded on/after departure once the local supervisor confirms the house(s) booked have been left in an acceptable condition. Any repairs to the property due to accidental damage or negligence will be deducted from the security deposit and where this is insufficient there will be additional charges which will be the responsibility of the person making the booking. Excessive damage to the property will be the responsibility of the person who made the booking. The supervisor may at all reasonable times visit the home during the stay or on departure.
( please note there is no Bank or ATM machine in Doolin)

3. CANCELLATION BY CUSTOMER.
In the event that you have to cancel your holiday home reservation our cancellation details are as follows:

More than 6 weeks: Deposit will be forfeited
21 – 42 Days: 60% of total rental will be forfeited 15 – 21 Days: 90% of total rental will be forfeited Less than 15 Days: 100 % of total rental will be forfeited

It is strongly recommended that clients take out holiday insurance to cover losses in the eventuality of cancellation charges becoming applicable.

4. UTILITY CHARGES.
Gas & Electricity Charges are not included in our rates the following are charged per night

June – September inclusive €7 per night
May – October inclusive €10 per night .
On site meter readings can be arranged with notice. All utilities are payable directly to the supervisor on departure. In the event where excess gas or electricity charges have not been paid by the client upon departure, we reserve the right to deduct these charges from the security deposit or credit card.
*Fair Usage Policy:
This applies to Gas and Electricity usage over each 24 hour period. The agreed rates per 24 hour periods are based on fair usage which allows
4 units of Gas per 24 hour period and 10 units of electricity per 24 hour period. Excess of these usages are charged as follows: €2.80 / unit Gas and € 0.19 for electricity. Please note in general usage is not in excess of these allowances.

5. Cots / Highchairs.
Please note we do not provide travel cots or highchairs, you are welcome to bring your own.

6. CLEANING & BED LINEN.
Final cleaning is included in the rental charge; we do ask that the house is left clean and tidy. Bed linen is supplied free of charge, towels are not supplied. Towels may be rented for €3.00 per set. Advise in advance if possible. When a holiday home is being rented for more than 1 week you may liaise directly with the on-site supervisor if fresh bed linen is required.

7. ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE TIMES.
Check-in is between 4:00pm – 6:00pm, Check-out is no later than 10:00am.
We request that these times be adhered to, in the event that you are unable to arrive at the specified time, its very important that advance approval is organised by contacting Dolin Villages Lodges in advance and or by speaking with the on-site Supervisor. We cannot guarantee acceptance of a later arrival time request, however we will certainly to everything possible to accommodate you.

8 . ARRIVAL & CHECK IN PROCEDURES.
Check In will be on site at your rental accommodation unless informed otherwise by your agent or accommodation representative. You will be given a brief on the facilities available and advised of the general house. Keys to your rental accommodation will then be given to you when you are satisfied that everything has been explained to you and when the acceptance form has been duly signed.

9. FURNITURE, FITTINGS, & FIXTURES.
In the unlikely event that any equipment or machinery in a property breaks or malfunctions due to unforeseen circumstances, it may take up to 48 hours for it to be fixed or repaired. However we will do our best to rectify any issues that may arise as quickly and efficiently as possible.

10. RIGHT TO DECLINE.
We reserve the right to refuse, alter or cancel a booking, even after receipt of final balance payment. In addition, the company is relieved of all liability should reserved accommodation not be available due to circumstances beyond our control. In such an instance alternative arrangements will be made in similar accommodation, or a full refund will be offered. However, no refund or liability will apply to a situation where a client is requested to vacate, or leaves of their own accord, prior to the expiration of their booking.

11. BEHAVIOR
Please note the following as it’s important that we consider and take responsibility for all guests and families staying with us at Doolin Village Lodges.
We reserve the right to refuse to hand over any home to any person who, in the opinion of the management, is not suitable to take charge. Likewise, rental of the home may be terminated with no refund at the discretion of the supervisor or any officer of the company if clients/occupiers behave in a disruptive manner, cause a nuisance or disturbance, endanger the safety or well being of other clients in the complex or that of the client himself, cause damage to the property or in any other circumstances deemed reasonable by the supervisor or any officer of the company. On the expiry or other termination of rental, the supervisor or any officer of the company may remove all belongings of the clients from the home left on the property and store or otherwise deal with same as deemed appropriate. Notwithstanding the aforesaid, the sole risk in respect of such belongings shall at all times remain with the clients.

12. ACCOMMODATION CAPACITY.
For insurance reasons, the total number of clients staying in each holiday home must not exceed the maximum capacity. As the capacity in each holiday home may vary it is important that you check in advance that you do not exceed the limit which applies to the holiday home you have booked. The number of persons advertised as being the sleeping capacity for the property must not be exceeded under any circumstances and clients will be asked to leave if this is exceeded.

13. PETS.
Pets are not permitted at Doolin Village Lodges. Guide dogs are permitted in certain circumstances and with advanced notice.

14. SMOKING.
Smoking is not permitted in any of our holiday homes. Failure to abide by this will result in the client’s deposit being forfeited for the provision of specialised cleaning services that will be required.

15. LIABILITY.
Doolin village Lodges complex, its employees and its employees or agents are not responsible for any loss of valuables or property left in the home or on site during the stay or on departure. Thankfully we have never had any issues here however it’s important take good care with valuables when staying. We do have all standard insurances in place within the holiday complex, but these insurances do not cover the loss or damage of any personal belongings taken into the houses by holidaymakers..

16. GROUP BOOKINGS.
Doolin Village Lodges do not accept bookings from groups of parties under the age of 25, unless otherwise agreed in writing. We reserve the right to refuse to check-in such groups and will not refund any monies paid in advance in the event of non-disclosure of the age of the occupants.

17. COMPLAINTS.
In the unlikely event of a complaint, it should be brought to the attention of the on-site supervisor and taken down in writing during your stay and/or prior to your departure; otherwise your complaint cannot be upheld as valid.
