Booking Terms

We reserve the right to request some information in order to confirm bookings. On occasions, we may require contact details such as photocopy of Passport or Driver’s License.

The guest will be charged a prepayment of 30% of the total price after reservation is made and the remaining amount will be charged in the 30 days before arrival.

Gas & Electricity Charges are not included in our rates the following are charged per night
May – September €8 per night
October 1st to 30th April €12 per night
On site meter readings can be arranged with notice.  All utilities are payable directly to the supervisor on departure. In the event where excess gas or electricity charges have not been paid by the client upon departure, we reserve the right to deduct these charges from the security deposit or credit card.
*Fair Usage Policy:
This applies to Gas and Electricity usage over each 24 hour period. The agreed rates per 24 hour periods are based on fair usage which allows
4 units of Gas per 24 hour period and 10 units of electricity per 24 hour period. Excess of these usages are charged as follows: €2.80 / unit Gas and € 0.19 for electricity. Please note in general usage is not in excess of these allowances.

We can provide a cot and highchair. However we do need advance notice.

Final cleaning is included in the rental charge; we do ask that the house is left clean and tidy. Bed linen is supplied free of charge, towels are not supplied. Towels may be rented for €1.00 per set. Advise in advance if possible. When a holiday home is being rented for more than 1 week you may liaise directly with the on-site supervisor if fresh bed linen is required.

Check-in is between 4:30pm – 6:30pm, Check-out is no later than 10:30am.
We request that these times be adhered to, in the event that you are unable to arrive at the specified time, its very important that advance approval is organised by contacting Doolin Villages Lodges in advance and or by speaking with the on-site Supervisor. We cannot guarantee acceptance of a later arrival time request, however we will certainly to everything possible to accommodate you.

Check In will be on site at your rental accommodation unless informed otherwise by your agent or accommodation representative. You will be given a brief on the facilities available and advised of the general house. Keys to your rental accommodation will then be given to you when you are satisfied that everything has been explained to you and when the acceptance form has been duly signed.

In the unlikely event that any equipment or machinery in a property breaks or malfunctions due to unforeseen circumstances, it may take up to 48 hours for it to be fixed or repaired. However we will do our best to rectify any issues that may arise as quickly and efficiently as possible.

We reserve the right to refuse, alter or cancel a booking, even after receipt of final balance payment. In addition, the company is relieved of all liability should reserved accommodation not be available due to circumstances beyond our control. In such an instance alternative arrangements will be made in similar accommodation, or a full refund will be offered. However, no refund or liability will apply to a situation where a client is requested to vacate, or leaves of their own accord, prior to the expiration of their booking.

Please note the following as it’s important that we consider and take responsibility for all guests and families staying with us at Dolin Village Lodges.
We reserve the right to refuse to hand over any home to any person who, in the opinion of the management, is not suitable to take charge. Likewise, rental of the home may be terminated with no refund at the discretion of the supervisor or any officer of the company if clients/occupiers behave in a disruptive manner, cause a nuisance or disturbance, endanger the safety or well being of other clients in the complex or that of the client himself, cause damage to the property or in any other circumstances deemed reasonable by the supervisor or any officer of the company. On the expiry or other termination of rental, the supervisor or any officer of the company may remove all belongings of the clients from the home left on the property and store or otherwise deal with same as deemed appropriate. Notwithstanding the aforesaid, the sole risk in respect of such belongings shall at all times remain with the clients.

For insurance reasons, the total number of clients staying in each holiday home must not exceed the maximum capacity. As the capacity in each holiday home may vary it is important that you check in advance that you do not exceed the limit which applies to the holiday home you have booked. The number of persons advertised as being the sleeping capacity for the property must not be exceeded under any circumstances and clients will be asked to leave if this is exceeded.

11 PETS.
Guide dogs are permitted in certain circumstances and with advanced notice. Additional pets are permitted at Doolin Village Lodges for a €30 fee subject to request. We do not provide any pet facilities.

Smoking is not permitted in any of our holiday homes. Failure to abide by this will result in the client’s deposit being forfeited for the provision of specialised cleaning services that will be required.

Doolin village Lodges complex, its employees and its employees or agents are not responsible for any loss of valuables or property left in the home or on site during the stay or on departure. Thankfully we have never had any issues here however it’s important take good care with valuables when staying. We do have all standard insurances in place within the holiday complex, but these insurances do not cover the loss or damage of any personal belongings taken into the houses by holidaymakers.

Doolin  Village Lodges do not accept bookings from groups of parties under the age of 25, unless otherwise agreed in writing. We reserve the right to refuse to check-in such groups and will not refund any monies paid in advance in the event of non-disclosure of the age of the occupants.

In the unlikely event of a complaint, it should be brought to the attention of the on-site supervisor and taken down in writing during your stay and/or prior to your departure; otherwise your complaint cannot be upheld as valid.

The guest will be charged 30% of the total price if they cancel after reservation is made. The guest will be charged the total price if they cancel in the 30 days before arrival.

Privacy Policy

We are committed to ensuring the best standards of practice in all our activities. Visitors to our web site can be assured that the protection of privacy and confidentiality are given the highest priority. All personal information is collected, held and used in strict compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Information Collected

We do not collect any personal information from visitors to our website other than information that is knowingly and voluntarily given. Anonymous information is collected, such as the number of visitors to the website in a given period or details of properties and dates selected for online bookings, but it is purely statistical and cannot be used to identify an individual user. Cookies are not used to collect any other information from visitors to the website. Visitors interested in requesting more information can provide contact details via a fill-in form. Visitors cannot be contacted unless such information is given. Visitors are also invited to give additional company information but a decision not to do so does not affect any subsequent negotiations or discussions.

Use of Information

The information collected will be used to contact you with further details of our current activities or to send details of future initiatives or events. It may also be used for research purposes. You can inform us at any time if you no longer require such information to be sent.

If you provide your email address to us, you agree that we may send information to you by email in relation to our Services and in relation to any new services, initiatives or events. You will have the opportunity to unsubscribe from any such emails at any time.

We will share your details with our booking system, SuperControl for the purpose of them delivering their service to us. For example they provide a verified reviews service called UpFrontReviews and we may ask them to send you an email invitation to submit a review about your stay. We will NEVER sell your details to any third party. You consent to us providing your details to SuperControl in this way. You will have the opportunity to unsubscribe from any such emails at any time.

Data Security

We take appropriate measures to safeguard the information we hold from unauthorised access or improper use. Our database is stored in a secure, password protected location. Only users authorised by us have access to this data.

Integrity of Data

We take all reasonable measures to ensure that the information we hold is accurate. In particular we use reliable collection methods and destroy or convert to an anonymous form, any out-of-date data. Individuals may request details of all personal information held by us so as to contest inaccurate or incomplete data, verify the information and have it corrected as appropriate.


Our website is not targeted at children but in any event personal information will not knowingly be collected from children under fourteen years without parental consent.
