The Red Stonecutters Cottage
TheRed Stonecutters Cottages sit atop Doonagore, a spectacular high point which has views to the Atlantic Ocean, the Aran Islands, the Burren and the music village of Doolin. It is situated on a quiet country road with nothing but gorse and fresh air.
The cottage dates from just after the famine and was lovingly restored a few years ago. Staying here is like going back in time.
The renovation preserved as much of the original character of the cottage as we could and we have bought many period pieces to keep the cottage authentic.
The cottage has off-road driveway parking and access to the a washer-dryer in the outside shed.
There are picnic benches front and rear.
The cottage has full central heating and a wood burning stove in the lounge.
The Red Stonecutters cottage is minutes from Doolin, a picturesque village on Ireland’s west coast. It serves as an ideal base for exploring the breath-taking attractions of the region.
