CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING
We reserve the right to request some information in order to confirm bookings. On occasions, we may require contact details such as photocopy of Passport or Driver’s License.

 

For bookings in Ballyvara House  a security deposit of €750.00 is payable with final balance – pending no incidents at the property, this will be refunded 2 days after departure

 

Terms and Conditions for Self Catering Properties in the Fiddle and Bow collection
1. DOGS:
Dogs are permitted at some Fiddle and Bow properties for a €40 cleaning fee per dog and no more than 2 dogs are accepted. Guide dogs are allowed with advanced notice.
NOTE: We do not provide any pet facilities. Not all houses are pet friendly. Please check with our reservations department to confirm if your property is dog friendly.

2. COTS/HIGHCHAIRS/FOLD OUT BEDS
Cots and highchairs must be booked in advance and are subject to availability, there is no additional charge. Fold out beds can be offered in some properties where there is space, they must be booked in advance and are subject to availability and when available there is a charge of €50. Fold out beds must be requested on when making a booking.
NOTE: Cot linen is not provided. Not all houses are child friendly.

3. CLEANING & BED LINEN
There are towels and linen provided for each guest staying in a property. We do ask that the house is left clean and tidy on departure. Properties are not cleaned during the stay, only on departure. Requests for additional linen and towels come with a charge:
Towel bundle: 6 bath towels, 2 hand towels, 1 bathmat – €20
Linen bundle: 1 flat sheet, 1 duvet cover, 4 pillow cases – €10

4. PARKING
Complimentary parking is provided at Fiddle + Bow Collection.
NOTE: For those staying in the lodges behind the hotel should there be another car parked outside of the lodge you are staying in feel free to park in any other nearby space or in the hotels main car park.

5. BEHAVIOUR
Quite time is from 10pm – 8am and house parties are not permitted in any property. We reserve the right to refuse to hand over any home to any person who, in the opinion of the management, is not suitable to take charge. Likewise, rental of the home may be terminated with no refund at the discretion of the company if guests behave in a disruptive manner, cause a nuisance or disturbance, endanger the safety or well being of other clients in the complex or themselves, cause damage to the property or in any other circumstances deemed reasonable by the company. On the expiry or other termination of rental, the company may remove all belongings of the guests from the
home left on the property and store or otherwise deal with same as deemed appropriate.
Should any of the following issues arise we reserve the right to charge:
•House parties come with a charge of €200 (any damages/ loss of revenue will be charged as extra)
•Late check out fee from €100
•Additional cleaning fee from €50
•Additional rubbish removal from €20
•Any items that are removed from the property will be charged for at their full retail value

6. ACCOMMODATION CAPACITY
The total number of clients staying in each property must not exceed the maximum capacity for insurance reasons. Guests will be asked to leave if this is exceeded.

7. MAINTENANCE
In the event of any maintenance issues occurring during your stay it may take up to 48 hours for it to be fixed or repaired. We will do our best to rectify any issues that may arise as quickly and efficiently as possible.
As we are located in rural Ireland, from time to time there may be unforeseen outages (electrical/ water). We will keep you informed of any timelines we receive from the relevant companies.

8. UTILITY CHARGES
Utility charges are for gas, heat and electricity costs, these are not included in our accommodation rates. Gas & electricity charges are additional and charged per night, payable at time of booking and prior to arrival.

9. ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE TIME
Check-in is from 4pm, Check-out is no later than 10am. Guests receive lock box code access to the property on the day of arrival once the property is ready. This information will be provided by WhatsApp message if booked directly by phone, through our website. If the booking was made through third party providers, the information will be sent to their messenger service.

10. SMOKING
Smoking is not permitted in any of our properties. Failure to abide by this will result in a fee of €100 for the provision of specialised cleaning services that will be required.

11. RIGHT TO DECLINE
We reserve the right to refuse, alter or cancel a booking, even after receipt of final balance payment. In addition, the company is relieved of all liability should reserved accommodation not be available due to circumstances beyond our control. In such an instance alternative arrangements will be made in similar accommodation, or a full refund will be offered. However, no refund or liability will apply to a situation where a guest is requested to vacate, or leaves of their own accord, prior to the expiration of their booking.

12. LIABILITY
The Fiddle + Bow Collection, its employees or agents are not responsible for any loss of valuables or property left in the home or on site during the stay or on departure. All guests are responsible for their own belongings.

13. DEPOSIT FOR INDIVIDUAL BOOKINGS
Guests are charged a non refundable deposit of 20% of the total price at the time of booking, the remaining amount will be automatically charged in the 14 days before arrival. The guest will be charged the total price if they cancel within 14 days before their arrival. Both deposit and balance are non-transferable and are non-refundable. Ballyvara House is the only exception with a 30 day cancellation policy.

14. GROUP BOOKINGS POLICY AND DEPOSITS
The Fiddle + Bow Collection do not accept bookings from groups under the age of 25. We reserve the right to refuse to check-in to such groups and will not refund any monies paid in advance in the event of non-disclosure of the age of the occupants. For groups of 3 or more houses, a 20% non-refundable deposit is required on booking Balance due 30 days prior to arrival date – after which, both deposit and balance are non-refundable & non-transferable.
With group bookings any items moved between the house booked must be returned to their original house before departure.

15.COMPLAINTS
We aim to provide a high level of customer service and want all of our guests to be completely happy with their holiday. In the unlikely event of a complaint, it should be brought to the attention of the on-site supervisor during the stay to give us the opportunity to offer a solution.
