The Yellow Cottage dates back to the late 1800s and was originally built for the family who worked the surrounding fields. The cottage has been lovingly restored to transport you back in time. We’ve preserved much of the original character, complemented by carefully selected period pieces to maintain its authentic charm. Come and experience a slice of history with all the comforts of today.
The Yellow Cottage is located a tranquil country road in Tournahoon, a small hamlet of a dozen houses. It is a short drive from Doolin village and the famous music pubs. The Cottage has a lovely outdoor space surrounded by a rock garden and has views across Doolin village, the Cliffs of Moher and the Atlantic Coast. The Yellow Cottage has been fully renovated yet retains many original features, including a large hearth with wood burning stove.
